For Immediate Release: January 24, 2011 (Washington, DC) – Rep. Elijah E. Cummings (D-MD), Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote to Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) today objecting to Issa’s proposal to return to the policy employed by former Committee Chairman Dan Burton, who issued over 1,000 subpoenas without minority concurrence or a Committee vote.
